Delta Airlines provides a reliable unaccompanied minor (UM) service for children traveling alone, ensuring safety and supervision throughout the journey.
Age Requirements
- Ages 5-7: UM service required, nonstop flights only
- Ages 8-14: UM service required on all Delta flights
- Ages 15-17: UM service optional
- Children under 5 cannot travel unaccompanied
Note: Unaccompanied minors may NOT travel on connecting flights that don't
allow sufficient time for connections, overnight flights, or the last connection of the day.
Fees
- $150 each way for nonstop/direct flights
- Fee covers up to 4 children per adult pickup
- Fee includes supervision and escort services
How to Book
- Call Delta at 1-800-221-1212 (UM cannot be booked online)
- Provide child's information and flight details
- Provide contact info for drop-off and pickup adults
- Complete UM form at the airport
